What is Samba?
Samba is a rummy card game based on Canasta. Depending on the variation, it’s played with 3-7 decks of cards (including Jokers) and can be played with 2-6 players. When playing with 2, 3, or 5 players, you don’t have a partner. However, you’ll have a partner in 4 or 6 player games.

Objective
Partnerships (or individuals) with the most total points over 4 rounds of play (four hands) win. Players win points through medling, creating sambas and canastas (points vary by values of the cards contained), and red 3 bonus points. If you want to learn more or that sounds confusing, just stop by! A Game Friendzy facilitator is always available for assistance and answering basic game questions during the Monday and Friday sessions.
